Process of Application to Collect Human Bioresource

Collected bioresource in health groups (Bioresource in health groups from visitors at the Health Promotion Center)

  1. STEP.01 Medical Examination

    Health Promotion Center

    Waiting for blood collection

  2. STEP.02 Consent Booth

    Disease history inquiry

    Explanation of research donations

    Preparation of a consent form for donation of human-derived materials, etc

    * Collected sample type : Serum, Plasma, Buffy Coat

  3. STEP.03 Blood collection room at the Health Promotion Center

    Blood: - Blood collection for medical examination + resource collection

  4. STEP.04 Human Resource Center Laboratory

    Blood: - Collect and receive samples - Store in an ultra-low temperature freezer at -80°C

Collecting bioresource in disease groups (outpatients & inpatients)

  1. STEP.01 Outpatients/Ward

    Brief description of donation for research

    Issue an order to obtain informed consent

    Direct to the Consent Consultation Booth (if applicable)

  2. STEP.02 Consent Consultation Booth

    Fill out Consent to Donate Human Materials and Common Health Questionnaire

    Issue a banking order to collect bioresources

    * Types of specimens to be collected: Serum, plasma, buffy coat, frozen tissues, body fluids, etc.

  3. STEP.03 Blood Collection Lab/Ward/Operating Station/Pathology

    Blood: -Outpatients: On the visit day or during follow-up - Inpatients: During hospitalization

    Tissues : - Tissues are harvested in the operating or endoscopy station, followed by calling to the Human Bioresource Center

  4. STEP.04 Human Bioresource Center Laboratory

    Blood: - Specimens are collected and received in the reception zone - Stored in a deep freezer at -80°C

    Tissues: - Specimens are collected ad received at the operating room or pathology - Stored in a liquid nitrogen tank at -190°C
