Human Bioresource Center at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital systematically collects human bioresources derived from donor of human material including human materials in a standardized manner according to the Bioethics and Safety Act and provides human bioresources to researchers in an ethical, fair manner.

Current medical care is veering away from simple tests and treatments with a paradigm shift emerging, i.e., “precision medicine” wherein each patient is classified precisely based on genome, clinical information, health habits information about living conditions in which personalized medical care is provided accordingly.

Following this trend, Human Bioresource Center is striving to secure high value-added human bioresources in response to research needs based on professional biobanking technology.
