Requirements for Starting a Business
- Employees who have been with Seoul National University Bundang Hospital for at least 3 years and have the ability to manage a small business or venture
- Employees with less than 3 years of service can apply for a startup if they meet all of the following criteria:
- ① If the urgency of starting a business is recognized due to the nature of the technology
- ② If it is recognized that the technology will have a significant impact on national industrial development
- ③ If it is recognized that the technology will make a significant contribution to Seoul National University Bundang Hospital

Startup approval/concurrent position permit
- Review by the Startup Review Committee

Incorporation
- Registrar with jurisdiction over a location of corporate business

Business registration
- Civil Service Office of the competent tax office

Application for venture recognition
- Korea Technology Finance Corporation or Korea SMEs and Startups Agency

Application for concurrent position permit
- Submit the Adjunct Faculty Application and Verification Form (download from Form Archives)
- Apply within 3 months from the start date
